Save the ACA

This Thursday, on the seventh anniversary of the passage of the Affordable Care Act, the House has a floor vote scheduled to repeal the ACA and replace it with TrumpCare.

We've called before, but today is where it comes down to the line. Today, Indivisible groups nationwide will be making calls to save the ACA. We're joining them in making as much fuss as possible. Making a fuss means press coverage; press coverage means Members of Congress can use their constituents' concerns as a reason to vote NO on repeal.

Who to Call:

Your Member of Congress:

  • Denny Heck (10th District) 253-533-8332

  • Derek Kilmer (6th District) 253-272-3515

Hi, I'm [name], a constituent from [address]. I'm calling because I'm very concerned about the Republican proposals to gut the Affordable Care Act and replace it with a system that will take away access to health care from millions of people in order to give tax cuts to the wealthy. [Add a personal story if it would directly impact you or your family.] I'm asking the Congressman to strongly oppose the repeal of the ACA using every means possible. Thank you.
