Powerful explosion in Afghan capital Kabul, Many hurt

well in some breaking news just coming in from Afghanistan where we believe that least 15 people have been injured after a powerful explosion rocked Kabul now the visuals on your screens are from the blast site where smoke can be seen billowing from the downtown area near the US Embassy and in fact the explosion occurred earlier this morning when the streets were packed with morning commuters and the police officials are at the scene of the blast now there have been no reports of any casualties so far we are awaiting more details into what exactly happened but as you can imagine this is a high-security zone it obviously is a diplomatic Enclave that houses all the embassies there in Kabul and this happened very close to the US Embassy we believe that 15 people are already injured in this blast and the first wish was of Kabul indicating smoke billowing from one of those areas close to the US Embassy this is a hugely fortified area which houses all the diplomatic enclaves of all the most important countries there in Afghanistan while we'll be getting you more on that in a few minutes who now but let's move on to other news now and after the Trump came historic meeting at the Demilitarized Zone talks of Pyongyang over North Korea's nuclear program will resume in July the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has indicated that preparations will begin immediately I don't want to say too much about that only the present so the conversation since it was the things he didn't share already with a recognition I think that something very significant anyway I do received all deliberate speed the US President Donald Trump became the first sitting US president to set foot in North Korea on Sunday when he met Kim jong-un in the Demilitarized Zone this meeting was initiated at the spur of the moment tweet by North Korean leader Kim jong-un who said he was surprised by Trump's invitation to meet with him at the North South Korean border but they are no closer to how everton adding down their gap between the positions of the two countries since they walked away from their summit in February in Vietnam the second summit in Hanoi broke down after the two sides failed to narrow differences the US team a said North Korea should give up its nuclear weapons on the other hand North Korea demands sanctions relief in the meanwhile transition yabai has said that Japan will continue to support the United States and North Korea's process he wished for talks between North could not Donald Trump and Kim jong-un to result in positive developments
